thanksgiving
this thanksgiving started off with me feeling strange about not being with my family.
but i had just about the most perfect day today with brooks and jeremy. an unlikely trio, we started by putting our name on the wait list at hoovers and then walked down for bloody marys on michael and kyle's porch.
michael is wearing a crazy shirt. it didn't look this crazy in real life. i promise.
then we went and ate an amazing down home thanksgiving with turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie and everything. it was SO good. we got four desserts and split them between three of us. our waitress loved us.
then to digest we decided to go lie down in the sun in the middle of zilker park.
don't think i didn't submit that to the mirror project.
they were setting up for the trail of lights out there and it was really windy out in the middle with no trees.
so we went and hid from the wind behind the tail of a giant green dinosaur. and struggled to find a corrolation between dinosaurs and the birth of christ. we never quite got it figured out. although there were MANY theories tossed around.
we went down by the water and ended up driving back to the east side of town just as the sun was going down.
it really was the perfect day. all sunshine and laughing. bonding with two people that you would never think you would ever spend a holiday with. it's cool, i have two new great friends.
