cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- good luck with the bitch hunt. first of all, i would like to say that i have the cutest kitten sitting in my lap, trying to help me type this entry. seriously, she's so damn cute. i went to a job interview for the city of austin on friday. it was horrible. the lady starts the interview off by saying that i'm completely overqualified for the position. she kept repeating, "this is a VERY entry level position. we're talking the very bottom." i asked her how much cash "the very bottom" translated into. turns out it was 8 bucks an hour. why did she call me in for an interview then? why couldn't she tell me these things over the phone? she said that with the economy like it is, she figured she might as well try to get someone with my experience in the position. good luck with that. you don't want an employee, you want a bitch. ugh. job hunting sucks. 9:44 pm - 25 november 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
