cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- aarrrgh, it's driving me nuts. yimay and i had a superbowl party at my house yesterday. now, neither of us know much about football, but we wanted an excuse to have people over and drink beer and eat finger foods. the best part was that all of our friends who showed up don't know much about the sport either, so it was one of the more laid back superbowl parties i've ever been to. i'm used to the ones where the air is thick with testosterone and everyone is VERY serious. we talked and ate and told pirate jokes (it WAS the raiders v. the buccaneers, you know). everyone intently watched the commercials and sort of paid attention to the game. just my kind of football party. then we topped the night off by going superbowling at the union. i love bowling. 3:49 pm - 27 january 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
