last night was kind of a blur. i went out after work with my buddy ruben. we were going to catch a band at emo's. nothing too major. a wednesday night. i wasn't even going to drink, maybe a lone star or two.
then the shots starting coming. and more friends starting showing up. a reason to celebrate! lana and megan were there! that's megan looking all badass against the combo ms. pac man/galaga machine.
we ended up trying to go to deville for one last drink at around 1:49 but they had already stopped serving. ruben, his buddy danny, and i heard this and without a word took off at a FULL RUN down red river to the first open bar. we ran to that horrible tiki bar and managed to get our order in just under the wire. more whiskey, please.
i RAN for more whiskey. this is bad.
