cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sorry. it's true. i have seriously neglected the cowbellz. there's no excuse but i will say that SOON i will have internet access at home and the world will be right again. i've been busy painting and unpacking and working and going to the lake for my grandmother's 80th birthday celebration. i LOVE my new house. jesse and i have been working our asses off and we're slowly making progress. there was carpet to rip up, blinds to install, walls to be painted, plants to put in the ground. (although that plant thing is all jesse. my thumb is certainly not green.) there is one problem, though. BUGS. it's part of the territory when you have a huge wooded lot like we do but MAN. there are chiggers in the backyard. fleas in both the yard and the house thanks to the former tenant's outdoor cats. now my cat has fleas for the first time in her life. thanks guys. but the house is beautiful and i would like now to sing the praises of having your very own washer and dryer. holy shit, it's amazing. i constantly have april fresh clothes and i LOVE it. now i'm off to the unpleasant part of the moving story. i still have yet to clean out my old apartment. i'm heading now to grab a load of stuff so i can hopefully be out of there by next week when i've scheduled the electricity to be turned off. wish me luck. also, i promise to update more often now that i'm all moved and stuff. 12:34 pm - 28 may 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
