cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- red hair and blue eyes. kill me now. hi. today was very exciting. i worked brunch this morning, my first sunday brunch and it was crazy. BUT melissa comes by in the middle of it all to say that eric stoltz has just walked in to put his name on the wait list. this is VERY exciting. a little background. in high school, o'connell and i went to this sketchy flea mart and got really bad florida fake ids. we got to pick new names for them, so we decided to keep our first names (in case we got nervous and forgot) and just pick new last names. mine was kristy slater because i thought kelly slater was dreamy. i was in my surfer boy phase. o'connell's new name was christie stoltz. ha. we were such dorks. anyways, he came in for brunch this morning. and he sat in the room i was working in. and i took him and his girlfriend to their table. and i did good, i did really good. i showed them to their table, gave them the wine list and told them where the specials were posted. and then damn him and his blue eyes, i could feel myself turning into a giggly school girl so i just said "enjoy your meal" and walked off really fast before i made a fool of myself. i'm not so good at talking to celebrities. i don't say the stupid fan stuff but i just fumble my words and end up feeling like an idiot. but my favorite part was when a co-worker walked back into the kitchen and said, "eric stoltz doesn't want anymore water." apparently everyone was going to his table using a pitcher of water as an excuse. ha. then i went and met donnie at the showdown to unwind. he was just passing through on his way back to houston. he didn't really know who eric stoltz was, so he wasn't that excited. but he beat me at pool. because i'm not so good, remember? **angela wants me to add that she, too, went to the flea mart with us for the ids. her new name was angela coleman. we're not sure why but if you ask her if it's because of gary, she'll get a little upset. but do it, it's so much fun. 6:29 pm - 13 october 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
