cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- easter bonnets working in a restaurant ruins all holidays. not that my family was ever really that into easter. it usually just meant a new pair of shoes and going out to lunch. but my parents didn't cook much, so the going out to lunch wasn't such a big deal. but oh boy, easter sunday brunch sucks. easter is a day when tons of people who don't usually go to church actually make an appearance. then they go eat. many of these people are not happy with having to dress up and are grumpy about sitting through church with their restless children all jacked up on candy. by the time brunch rolls around, they're SO over it. they just want to go home and put on jeans and enjoy their sunday. and it's at that point when i get the pleasure of dealing with them. great. BUT. they do feel generous, it being a religious holiday and all, so my tips were all pretty good. also, i saw some ladies in GREAT easter hats. big pink and yellow things with decorative flowers. 9:34 pm - 20 april 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
