cowbellz's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- got two jobs in 4 days. check this out. been in town for about 4 1/2 days and i have a part time job and a photo gig lined up. (thanks to melissa for the first and dan for the second) melissa hooked me up with a host job at eastside cafe. a nice place, in an old house, with yummy food. i'll be working four shifts a week until i get a real daytime job and then i'll probably cut down to two or three. the con is i'll never be able to go out of town for the weekend, i'll be working saturday nights and sunday brunch. but the pro is a big one. i get 11 bucks in food or wine or beer everytime i work. it's like they're paying me to work AND giving me fancy food. rock! the photo gig is still in the works, but it will be taking promotional photos of a band that dan is helping with their website. good experience and a little bit of spending cash. so, now i just need a daytime job to round it all out. keep your eyes peeled. i'm going to try to go to the UT temp agency tomorrow to see what they can do for me. now i have to go work on getting the house in order so we can have people over on saturday. come over if you feel so inclined. 10:18 pm - 03 october 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
