the slow stuff.
one thing about going through a period of melancholy is it has opened my ears to tons of music that i normally wouldn�t be psyched about. stuff that friends like joanna and chris have told me to listen to but i never really did.
take songs:ohia for instance. i always thought it was good stuff but because it was on the slower side, i never really sought it out to listen to. But ohmygod, it�s so good. it�s passionate. smart. sad. sexy, even. it builds slowly to a point where it�s almost too much and then lets you down gently.
i really can�t get enough of it right now.
